Have you ever wondered how artists get their work into galleries? There are several ways, but one of the most common is by answering calls of entry for juried shows.

A juried show is one that is curated by prominent members of the arts community who select art work from often hundreds that are submitted. The result is an eclectic show in which many artist have one or two pieces, rather than a single artist showcasing many pieces.

The Scugog Council of the Arts has an annual call for entry to a juried show and this year, studio tour artists David Clubine, Diana Bullock, and Allison Bullock had their work selected.

Information about the show and the opening detailed below; congratulations to our members!
